Sorry, no clamps today. (The family is in dire need of clean -and dry- clothing ... )
Instead I did some shaping - mainly by sanding off all the excess wood not looking like a FooLing.

By now one could almost take her for a boat:

(Boy, if you don't like these sleek and slender lines, there must be something wrong with you ... )


And she's already prepared to pick up every buoy or inflatable rescue boat within reach :


Next thing to do will be to trim the non-trip-chines and the bottom to fit together. That's still quite a challenge for me, as I want to do it according to the plans:

I know what you all have been so desperately longing for. But fear not, salvation is at hand. In this magnificent weather the laundry has already dried. So without further ado I'll introduce you to:

And it turned out, that I positively did build no lamp-screen (btw: where's the Duke? Long time no see ...), I only had to cut one template, which perfectly fits both sides.

Don't forget the bottom... I heared that it makes the boat plane much better!
