Some of you may have noticed that I have promised to build a Foo-Ling for Rod in exchange for some little gem in the fine art of building outboard motors.
But: what's better than building a 152vo-racer? - Right: building two of them!
So I decided to do one for myself too.
(Im Austausch gegen einen handoptimierten AB werde ich für Rod eine Foo-Ling bauen. Und weil's so schön ist, für mich gleich eine mit.)
First here's the shopping list (Einkaufsliste):

Any comments on the choice of materials from those who have already built a Foo-Ling (or maybe an Airborne or a MadCap)?
I'm wondering, if I should choose 0,8mm and 1,5mm plywood instead of 0,6mm and 1,2mm. Rod, what do you think? Should we go for more strength or for less weight?
Tomorrow afternoon I'd like to place the order.
(Irgendwelche Anmerkungen zu den gewählten Materialien? Sollte ich vielleicht 0,8mm und 1,5mm Sperrholz nehmen statt 0,6mm und 1,2mm? Morgen nachmittag soll bestellt werden.)
*) Frames will not be built from planks but cut from plywood
(Die Frames werden nicht gebaut, sondern aus Sperrholzplatten ausgeschnitten)
**) Transom will be cut from the same piece of ply as the bottom
(Der Transom wird aus derselben Sperrholzplatte geschnitten wie der Boden)
