I think this hull will need what I would refer to as a "chicken wing" near the transom. A chicken wing on a hydroplane is an extension of the chine planking above the top decking to prevent tripping when turning. The diagram shows the side extending all the way rearward, but it isn't completely apparent that it is doing so.

You can sort of see what I am referring to in this photo of my Hedlund hydro. When they were first built, it was discovered that although very fast in the straight-aways, it would occasionally "catch" in the turns, sometimes hard enough to flip the boat because the chine would dip under water due to its low profile. The chicken wing effectively raised the height of the chine without affecting the aerodynamics of the hull. The Jupiter is very similar in design with an aerodynamic profile ending in a very short transom and adding the chicken wing should help keep the boat upright when turning sharply.

You can probably compare it to the front panel of a airboat, which effectively keeps the very low deck above the water:

Das sieht zwar ähnlich aus, dient aber einem völlig anderen Zweck. Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, sind die "Hühnchenflügel" die Verlängerung der Chines nach oben über das Deck hinaus. Dies soll verhindern, dass die sehr flache Chine in Kurven untergetaucht wird.
Anschaulich lässt sich das vielleicht mit dem vorderen Paneel eines Sumpfgleiter vergleichen, dass das sehr niedrige Deck zuverlässig über Wasser hält.
