Hi sergio,
Yes, I can imagine ...
For you, and other non-german readers, a short summary in englisch:
- I am going to design an Evinrude 4-60 in 123D Design CAD for my humaroc baby. (so far you will have guesed .. )
- The cilinderhead (one of two, to be mirrored) is comming allong nicely! After some practicing I am getting the hang of the CAD program, and things are going progresively quicker.
- From Kay I got the remark that the original head-nuts are brass, so it would be difficult to paint the predesigned nuts in that coulor since they are merely 2,2mm across. Jo said that it is verry easy to 'overdesign' a part in CAD since you can zoom in almost indeffenelty. That makes verry smal details, that possibly won't even come up in the final print.
- With the above in mind I decided to 'drill' holes and place messing micro-bolts. With making the holes it turned out that the cilinderhead was hollow, due to some mistake I made allong the way, no idea howe that happend .... So I had to go back a few steps and remake the part, this time solid.
- Finaly Bernhard mentioned that is is better to make the parts hollow to save weight and material (cost). But for the 20x35x5mm cilincerheads that would be of little consequence, so i am leaving them as they are. For the cilinders themselves and the cranccase however this has to be done, allso to have room for the outrunner motor.
