I've recently received a TFL mini from OSE and notice the Leo 2845-4D-4110 has a different mounting hole size than the TFL---how does one modify? Also does does someone make a 4mm end to the flex shaft end connector? What is the best replacement bearing for the TFL lower? Thanks G Ray Hamby USA

George, I wouldn't recommend the 4110 kV Leo as it is turning too high, even on 2S batteries. This is an additional problem to the both other points you already mentioned (4mm shaft, different mounting holes).

I would recommend the Rotorstar 2839 / 3600 kV or Turnigy SK-3 3600 kV on 2S, or - even better because of lower amps draw - the Rotorstar 2839 / 2700 kV on 3S. The Turnigy H2223 3500 kV is also a recommendable and inexpensive motor on 2S.

Regarding the bearings I can only provide a link to a German shop (but shipping from Germany to the US is much cheaper than vice versa, so you might order it there):

Alternatively there's a new replacement bearing for the Mini TFL on the market, but I didn't give it a go by now:

Hello,

I tried my new 152 vo Triangle Poncelet with 2S Lipo and 3600KV Turnigy motor
mounted on a TFL base. Seems to be OK but I think TFL bushing in copper
will not last a lot.
Did some of you replace this bushing in copper by bushing in brass or bronze
and how to proceed
Thanks for advices.

Definitely not. One closed course heat and the bushing is gone.

I think: everybody here meanwhile changed the original bushings to teflon-metal or bronze bushings. :)

Look at this thread for TFL tuning. Not only the busching, you can do a lot to it to improve performance. All together you can easily get 10-15% speed improvement like this, and get a reliable outboard at the same time.
