You are from Canada? I love this country. I've been in Ottawa, Toronto, Niagara falls, Calgary, Jasper and Banff. Rocky Mountains with an Oldsmobile, a tent and a sleeping bag. Awesome!

A few years later I was in Atlin, BC for fishing. Together with 2 friends and black bears in a little camp in the wilderness, 40 kilometers from Atlin. One of my best vacations ever.

I think you are our first member from Canada in our forum and I belive to know where we could have the next competition Do have maybe a usable lake in your naberhood? The good news is for all eueopean paticipance would be: it is more or less for all the same distance!

Welcome to the 152VO community from Belgium.

I'm located two and half hours north of Toronto in a place called Moon River Basin, that flows into Georgian Bay, Lake Huron.

There are lots of quite and still water to race boats.

The boat in my avatar is a 1949 Peterborough cedar strip with a 1958 Johnson 18.

Trout and salmon fishing in BC is some of the worlds best.

I wish I had found you guys before I purchased a Spitfire from Aero-naut...oh well next one will be a custom 152 from the plans.

Like Hasse wrote, just build the Spitfire, and have fun with it! After gathering that experience there are plenty of boat plans to choose from to buid a genuine 152VO racer and join the races!
