Hi There 152-VO infected--My name is G. Ray Hamby. I am an old (71 yo) tunnel hull racer from the Dallas area of the great state of Texas, USA. I think I first saw the web site on International Waters Forums. I have been racing RC boats since 1975. My interest was in nitro OB tunnel hulls, nitro 3.5 monos, hydros, and eventually 1/8 scale nitro boats. I recently was converting a 3.5 LeeCraft tunnel hull to FE OB. I was surprised to hear I was the purchaser of the 100th Baby Bullet kit and to receive the first kit shipped to the USA. Jo was very helpful in making this happen. I've started my build and hope to post some progress pictures. The kit is very nice and it is all that it's cracked up to be. Jo-my kit came without the 3 mm dowels but luckily most appetizer sticks in this country come from China so the sticks worked fine. I'll post more later. Ray

Full Normal--I am not a veteran of early OB full size racing, only RC boats. But a close friend and I did buy an 8ft plywood hydroplane in Oklahoma City, OK in about 1958. We strapped it atop his 55 chevy and took it to his lake house on Ft.Cobb reservoir in western OK. WE rented a 10hp Mercury OB that had a quick silver lower unit, attached it to the transom of the hydro(made from plans published in "Popular Mechanics" ) and proceeded to run it up and down the lake till the motor seized (we may have forgot to add oil to the mix). That certainly led me to building and enjoying model boating. Thanks for the welcome!! Ray
