I have not done that yet but the Plan is to lead the three cables to the base of the fly wheel, which carries the magnets for ignition

Maybe I should make three holes into the fly wheel :bauen:

No not on this one, they use 3 separate coils. (Like a beercan) Mmmmm, beer. :bier:
Or like in this picture, 3 coils on a plate. (I think this is a newer setup)

I found the same thing. Mounting them on the front of the engine above the fuel pump would look really good. Anyone have a drawing of a coil pack?

Here is my first cs500. This one isn't very detailed. I always like to build one first before putting a bunch of time into it if possible. This allows me to see how everything goes together. I always make at least one mistake on the first one. I also just got my first 3d printer so I am still learning the ropes and having fun printing parts. Plug wires are just tucked into the case for now.
