My name is Nick.I'm from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England.
I'm building a semi scale vintage outboard. It is will be in the spirit of Vo 152, but not a scale model of Vo 152.
length approx 67cm, Outboard hobby king F3, Esc turnigy 90amp, battery Nanotech 5000mah.
Pilot "Ralph" Stryker battalion modifyed.
I just thought I would introduce myself to all of you good people on here.

I was wondering which section would be best.
I'm in Snowdonia (Wales) until tomorrow. When I get back home I'll try and post some pic's.
I think the boat is going to be an ugly duckling. But if She sails well, I will re-design her and make her prettier.

Many thanks for the welcome to the forum Gentlemen.
We just got back from "snowy" Snowdonia.
I've been looking over the "Ugly Duckling". I will post some photos when she looks a bit prettier.
In the meantime I will look through many good posts on here.
I'm keen to make her sail well and be as fast as possible.
So, hopefully in the near future I will have a good Vo style boat. And without my long suffering Wife making me stay in the Hobo Cabin for too long.

The outboard hasn't arrived from HK yet.
I've read the posts on here regarding the F3 Outboard. The brass "stuffing tube" looks like a good idea.
I'm sure I'll be asking for your help in the near future.
"Ugly Duckling" is coming along slowly. It's my first boat design.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I had bought a Turning 90a Esc. This is not the case. It is actually a Hobby King 90a boat/brushless Esc with Bec. Are these any good ?
